Jacob Weinberg, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics. He treats infants, children and adolescents with orthopedic conditions. These conditions include sports injuries, fractures, bone and joint infections, scoliosis, clubfoot, and hip dysplasia. He believes in simple, straight-forward solutions to complex orthopedic problems.
Dr. Weinberg obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Columbia University. He earned his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He received his fellowship training through Harvard University in pediatric orthopedics at Boston Children’s Hospital and in spine surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He has practiced orthopedic surgery in the Houston Medical Center, at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (Fort Hood, Texas), and in south Florida. Prior to his current position at All American Orthopedic, Dr. Weinberg was the team physician for three college-level athletic programs in Miami, Florida.
Jacob Weinberg, MD is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). He is an associate member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA). He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Weinberg has presented research at national orthopedic meetings and has authored many papers in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
He spends most of his free time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and fishing.
